De laatste tijd bereiken ons geluiden dat het gonst binnen de internationale bedrijfstop en de overheid. Topmannen en hoge functionarissen stappen op of gaan ineens met pensioen.

Onderstaande lijst geeft belangrijke ontslagen weer in de periode tussen november 2009 en nu, waaronder meer dan 1000 bankiers van de Royal Bank of Scotland.

Wat zou er gaande zijn...

Zijn de topmannen massaal ergens bang voor? Zijn ze bang dat corruptie aan het licht zal komen en dat ze hiervoor gearresteerd zullen worden wanneer men achter de waarheid komt? Zijn ze niet meer zo zeker van hun zaak? Krijgen ze last van gewetenswroeging? Proberen zij misschien hun verantwoordelijkheden te ontvluchten? Passen ze simpelweg niet meer in de nieuwe tijdslijn of is het allemaal toe te schrijven aan toeval?

In ieder geval liegen de aantallen er niet om.
